Posiva’s underground research facility ONKALO in Olkiluoto is now a registered trademark in the European Union. Trademark protects ONKALO brand and achievements of Posiva’s expertise.

The ®-trademark symbol is used, when the word ONKALO is mentioned in a text for the first time, with a footnote “ONKALO® is a registered trademark of Posiva Oy”.
