The TVO Group requires responsibility in all operations
The TVO Group's Code of Conduct was published today. It lays down the TVO Group´s principles of corporate social responsibility both for business practices and interactions within the Company and with the society. This Code of Conduct replaces TVO's and Posiva's previous Codes of Conduct.
In the TVO Group, the starting point in all activities is uncompromising adherence to safety culture and ensuring safety. We promote high morals and quality in all our activities. We act as nuclear professionals in all circumstances.
The TVO Group’s Code of Conduct is based on the Company’s values, and it complies with the OECD’s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The Code of Conduct has been reviewed by the Group Executive Team of Teollisuuden Voima Oyj and in the Co-operation Meeting. In addition, the Boards of Directors of the Group companies (Teollisuuden Voima Oyj, Posiva Oy, Posiva Solutions Oy, and TVO Nuclear Services Oy) have approved the Code of Conduct.
We expect all TVO Group employees, partners, and suppliers to adhere to the principles laid down in the Code of Conduct in their dealings with the TVO Group, their own employees and suppliers, as well as third parties, such as authorities. The supplier shall also ensure that its suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants, and partners comply with the principles of the Code of Conduct.
Reporting on potential non-compliance with the Code of Conduct
TVO Group employees, partners, and suppliers are encouraged to contact the TVO Group´s supervisory or managerial personnel if there is doubt about the best practice.
Any potential non-compliance with the Code of Conduct shall be reported to a supervisor, a person representing the Company's management, or internal audit. All reported suspected violations are investigated following a specified procedure.
Everyone may confidentially and, should they so wish, anonymously report any actions or issues that are in violation of the Code of Conduct.
