Work accident at Posiva requiring hospital treatment

A work accident requiring hospital treatment occurred at Posiva’s encapsulation plant in Olkiluoto on Monday, 23 March, at approximately 13:30. The accident happened while the person was performing a work task. No other persons were injured in the incident. We are currently investigating the incident in close cooperation with the authorities.
Information regarding the personal injury resulting from the accident will be communicated by the authorities. We kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy of the injured person.
